From 2012 to 2018, I served as the Department Chair of the Game Art/Animation/Digital Visualization program suite at Mount Ida College in Newton, MA. Over the course of those six years, the program became one of the flagship offerings at the college. Despite Mount Ida's abrupt closure in May 2018, I am very proud of the legacy of the department. We were able to connect our students with professional contacts in games and animation, bring working professionals into our classrooms to teach, provide a comprehensive & industry focused education, involve students with internship opportunities, and ran a regular travel program to Japan.
I am extremely proud of not only our accomplishments as a department, but also the students who came through the program! This page is a small memorial to their accomplishments and the artistic growth they were able to achieve. A special thanks to all of the instructors I had the honor of employing. None of this would have been possible without your incredible contributions, and I am extremely grateful to all of you!

TEACHING SAMPLES
Below is a small selection of critique, paint overs, and instruction given to students. Along with these smaller samples, I have also included a style guide created specifically to assist with a student with developing a project that evokes the look of Samurai Jack. I believe this selection illustrates my firm belief in "actionable feedback," giving clear and specific feedback to help generate better results.
